I love Studebakers pieces I have purchased many for myself as well as friends and family. My wedding band is even from them. Which made this most recent purchase a little disappointing.
This was my first engraved item. I kept their notes in mind but I was surprised to see how small and compact the lettering was for a name. This led the text to be almost unreadable and looking more like a smudge… going forward I will probably avoid engraving but still plan on ordering more in the future.
I bought this and Solid Gold Plait Ring as wedding bands. I'm fairly active so I got this one for when I'm doing activities that might put the ring in situations that can do some damage to it. I'm stoked on the overall aesthetic and quality of this ring and look forward to wearing it years to come!
This is a great looking ring, however I’m very sad that its beauty has faded. The black lines between the grooves were a very nice touch, however after a couple of months with light wear (2x week) they have completely disappeared. Sad as this really made the ring special. Additionally the metal is staining my finger and leaving behind a black ring mark.
Love this ring. The color, the weight, the size, everything. I have two brass rings from other companies I wear every day and this is the perfect addition. I love having the gold color without the 10kt gold price and without having to worry about damaging a softer metal ring. Been wearing it since I got it and I noticed some green marks at first (totally normal with brass jewelry) but after about a week and half it doesn’t leave marks anymore. Also noticed when it arrived it had a darker look to it, and daily wear (and hard water) have brought it to a beautiful gold shine. This jewelry is meant to be worn, y’all. Love it all around. Can’t wait to add another Studebaker ring to the collection soon.
I stack the Plait Ring with the Trench Ring. Together they provide really great texture and contrast and pull in all of my other Studebaker brass jewelry, both polished and work patina.
